CMDR Crabber - and I thought I was fast!!

That was hilarious watching you boost past me out of Chango dock - I thought I was brave going at full throttle with full pips to eng, but you outdid me greatly sir - I tip my hat!

By the way, if your boosting was as a result of me obstructing you, I humbly apologise and in either case tip my hat to you.

A video ?

I'm so sorry I didn't take one.

I am SO going to have to switch on FRAPS - given that I actually bought it today.

In all the excitement I forgot to load it before starting the game :(

Feeling a little silly now...

Actually I could do with a YouTube channel too...

So much to do!

It will be for next time. The game is going to last for a long time, for a very long time

:)

if your an nvidia user try using shadowplay I've found it really good and much simpler than running fraps.

I am really enjoying what I like to call the Breakpoint Maneuver ;)

Basically going through the gap really fast while spinning, drift stop right on the pad :D

Just noticed CMDR Crabber was wanted outside Chango and engaged. Had him down to 20% structure before he managed to jump out. o7

I saw someone boost right into the wall and kill himself because he apparently thought the entrance/exit was 5 meters to the left lol. :p

It can be done easily in a Sidewinder as its width is less than the shortest dimension of the station entry slot.
Don't try it in anything else though.
:D

Yes, It's been puzzling reading about people crashing into the dock in Sidewinders when from many videos you can clearly see the Sidewinder is tiny compared to the aperture.

Its been years since many have played a sim like game, and not to mention the console corruption the last few years. My son mentioned "Wow look at all them ships coming in" to me that meant get the hell out of there. Safety in numbers isn't, when your at a station.

Goodluck out there folks.

But it doesn't feel that way going through. I've been thinking that a tutorial video of docking that actually follows a Sidewinder through might be good since players could see all that room in the ship ahead.
