CMDR Cust. and Ship/Srv Paint Job

Is there a (descent) way to allow the community to create outfits/helmets/tattoos/etc. and paint jobs for the ships and SRVs?

It would leave time for real Frontier Developers to work on the game and not "side quest" items.
The community obviously knows what the community wants.
Frontier could still sell said paint jobs and CMDR Customization the same way, AND they could sell them at like 50% of the price since all they really gotta do is "add" and not "create".

It might be not as simple since Frontier would have to check the custom creations in regards to any inappropriate or forbidden content according to the laws of every country the game is available. Also copyright. And then see if it can be added to the game without losing too many details and exceeding the limits.

But it does feel like there should be another contest in the near future for something user-created.
