I have been playing solo mode for a while and decided to dip into the 'all' group. Sat at the Nav point at eranin when another cmdr shows up in a viper. I used the comms for the first time and we agreed to take down an anaconda to see if it had any loot. After some sever pounding it jumped out. I acquired a bounty in the process so as per the DDF pirate post i went back to azeban city to pay off the fine and keep my profile low to the authorities. On the way there in super cruise i must have seen 15+ PC ships flying in super cruise!! I cannot wait until we can pull these other cmdrs out of it. I think this will make trading so much more difficult.

I decided to try to smuggle myself in using the techniques shown in the smuggling 101 post in the forums. Managed it in an eagle....damn that engine runs hot!!!!

So i think the future potential for both player interaction is massive.

I agree that the larger player islands are a good thing but I do have concerns. I think it was mentioned that they are looking to increase the number again if all goes well with the current number which may IMO cause problems requesting docking permission as there is the potential for all of the landing pads to become full.

However this may well be balanced out by the sheer size of the galaxy in the final release which means player will be a lot more spread out.
