You are welcome.I feel upset you the video, just as it is trying to prove his game.
I'm proud to be a rational animal and have a spirit of 12 years of age.
as you say this is an alpha and we find fault, have fun and help, but I see you not doing that.
you attack players when they appear, you are lurking, do well, is making many friends.
You feel upset about the video or you feel you've upset me? I believe it's the latter. Are you happy?
Yes, despite usually being a very calm guy, I find my blood boils a bit when I see unfairness, even if it's not directed at me.
In the case of your video I see a guy whose only objective is only to make another guy look bad, not testing the alpha.
If you were testing the alpha your comments would have been:
- Here Frontier should allow subsystem auto repair, so that after an escape a ship can battle again (in the first scenario, like I said, I quit because I wouldn't be able to do more and neither would you).
- Here Frontier should probably introduce a penalty for people that quit early (yes, in the last battle I quit when there was a minute or so left in the life support counter, because you stopped shooting at me for so long! Were you expecting me to wait out a full minute, particularly when I just wanted you to get off my back?)
Instead of constructive comments you opted for defamatory comments. While fun to 12 year olds (and I'm not talking about the "spirit" like you call it, it's a metaphor for immaturity) it wasn't fun for me, on the other end of it.
Finally, when you say I'm attacking players and lurk. Completely false. I'm really glad you said it here instead of putting it in another montage of yours.
Unlike Snuffler, who is playing the game like I will in the final version, I don't lurk. I target someone and take ONE shot at them to see if they're interested in a battle, particularly if I see they're engaged in something else.
If I get a positive answer (another single shot), I wait until both shields are at 100% and then we engage (usually I give the first dozen shots or so).
If I ever shot someone and got no fire back, I'd stop (e.g. in my own defense, when the alpha started I shot at everything that moved, but also got killed a lot because of lack of skill)! I certainly wouldn't continue to shoot them and then post a video on the internet showing it off, with my comments on how the other guy is an awful person for not waiting for me to see the whole show.
Search around the forums. You'll see some comments about me showing up, getting shot at by three different ships, and being there until the end (to the great enjoyment of many people).
