The world design is imho the strongest aspect of ED and it still thrills me everytime i take a look around while supercruising. From day one i made a lot of screenshots of the most beautiful views and by the time i started to really enjoy the process of making screenshots which are more than a image of what i saw on my screen. It's about transporting the tension and atmosphere this game can create just by its graphic artwork. Finding the perfect angle and distance in order to put the objects in a balanced composition of lighting, textures and proportions needs a little effort and time, but this can be really satisfying. So satisfying that i occasionally catch myself derping around for two hours in a single system ^^
I started playing in Nov 13 and over the time i collected some decent screenhots i made. They shouldn't just settle dust on my hd, so i decided to put up a blog and share them with the community...

For the start there are only a few screenies because i got really picky, but i don't want to display mediocre stuff. A few more are in the pipeline, and after posting this i'll go on a new photo safari. All screenhots are posted high res and free of any canopy.

Definitely some talent there. I love the angles of your shots, and nice work not letting your ship or markers get in the way. As a fellow explorer, I always love seeing this stuff; even if its a place I've been a thousand times, the right photography can really bring the scenery to life and reignite a bit of awe.
