CMDR Validating is back!

I just met famous CMDR Validating AGAIN! 1st time in 2-3 years:

Commander Validating is overrated as an explorer, the last system I encounter his tag in he had only bothered with the stars and one planet. That was yesterday when I found that.

He's everywhere where I am, but he doesn't report properly, plenty of systems he's visited on the list need to be rescanned for EDSM with only 1 or 2 bodies reported for the system, he gets around, but doesn't seem to do much!

Oh no that's not the issue, I often see that, but the problem is he isn't reporting it to EDDN, so EDSM ad Spansh aren't getting updated, I often find systems with only 2 or 3 bodies reported on EDSM for instance, from the original visitor, then the rest visited by Validating in game but not updated, so he's only doing half his job.

Oh. Just ignore me not running that kind of plugin either.

Really though, what is behind this “Validating”? Is it a player that deleted their account/save or something? Or is it actually someone who goes by that name?

Some think it's a problem between the separated instances of consoles and PC and that data is sometimes not "validated" properly, some think it's a real person, or at least some of it, by a CMDR named Validating, I have seen similar jokes using other word like "unknown" and etc, but only FDEV really knows what's going on with Validating. The fact the data hasn't been reported may indicate it was an early console user who couldn't actually report it or maybe they, like many, just didn't bother, it's not important really, but the spread and number of systems he has visited seems remarkable for a single player.

I haven't seen "him" for long. I think I saw such tag before Oddy last time. I think we had topic about missing him year or two ago too.
Any way he is here yet, good news! :D

Yer there back i keep getting betten to first discoverys by this CMDR Validating as im trying to return to the bubble from a long 4-5 year exploration mission in my heavly damaged ship

I thought they had quit the game & asked for all there data to be deleted along with there account years ago
