C'mon everyone - get trucking Onion Head.

The progress bar for the Onion Head CG hasn't moved from empty yet - so come on CMDRs - get out to Kappa Fornicatus and bring some back to Xelabara. Even 1 small load will help everyone out and probably net you a decent pay-off.

Done a few runs yesterday and spent some time collecting bounties at the Nav beacon, the Asp was better than expected in a fight :) will do some more runs tonight!

It's Kappa Fornicus btw,

Freudian slip? :D

Edit: Lesson learned, Freudian slips are contagious. Thanks fennster!

27t shifted and in the Top 15%.
No movement on the progress bar so far shows the Tiers are completely utterly unachievable. I won't be bothering any more with this CG. I'm suffering CG burnout.

This one is probably impossible...the supply of Onionhead is far too small to get the quantities needed to complete it.

That's the main reason I posted. I figured that the more instances we can fill with players at Fornacis, the more global re-supply we can achieve...

As for being "boring", I half agree, but only insofar as some people find -trading- boring. Which I don't. For a start it's a very handsome profit on small volumes. Second is that the cargo is illicit in some of the systems you pass through. Interdiction is a factor and makes you think different tactics for different interactions particularly if you are also in Hostile systems as well. So there's potential for all sorts of surprises during the fairly long trek through the galaxy. Whether you choose "fast route" and have to dock for fuel or scoop en-route. Or maybe choose "economy route" which goes through more systems making the chances of interdiction greater... Finally, this particular CG looks like it will require a coordinated *community* effort to even make it to tier 1. Which is what *Community* Goals are. So you can either *share* in attempting what appears to be a difficult achievement, or if that's not your thing, maybe keep the negativity off the thread so as not to dissuade other players from joining a *community* effort, please?

I don't disagree with your points Mark, it's just that we've gone through a number of high profile, high volume CGs in the last 2-3 weeks, there is 1.5 beta testing going on and many folks are simply taking a break. The same thing happened with the HIP 8396 mining CG and that was lucky to break Tier 1.

Perhaps the Beta testing is killing these CG, although I suspect they have messed up the quotas for the tiers on both.

I'd rather spend an evening on top of a stepladder in No Man's Land smoking endless cigarettes through a luminous balaclava.

Currently the progress bar doesn't show where the progress is - it starts with "Rare created" (tier 1) and not with zero. Compare the progress bar form the BH CG and the OH CG - the onion head CG progress bar is cut off at the bottom. The progress bar simply doesn't show the progress up to the point the CG succeeds (rare created).

It's annoying, but no indication that the tiers are unachievable.

To all: Deliver Onion Head!

I delivered 8 tons last night, and I plan to make some more trips tonight. I wanted to fill my cargo space, but only 1 extra OH was available after 20 or 30 minutes of waiting at the station.

Dropped off 54t, in top 5%.

Nobody is doing it because its not structured fairly.

The cmdr's that do the first few tiers are kind of getting ripped off. Shouldnt the first on board, the first to support be the ones that get a better reward? Or at least an equal reward? I could go do like 30 runs to get into the top 5%, but if the tier gets pushed up, someone can just show up on the last day, do less than 10 runs and have me beat.

Bit of a fail on this CG if you ask me.

I'd especially encourage relatively new players to get involved here, since ability to contribute isn't proportional to how big of a cargo hold you have. The earnings potential -- a couple hundred thousand each way if you stop to get rares in the systems are close to Xelabara and Kappa F -- is also decent compared to other early-game activities.

So even if you're new, take your Cobra, Adder, etc., fit it with some cargo racks and the best FSD you can afford, and help out!

I fail to recognise the phrase "have me beat". Whatever the reward structure is - all that you can do is give it a go. I'll never be able to invest the time to get into top anything over 70%. It is all about time investment. But the thing is that this is a *Community* endeavour. I've only put in 8T so far and that might actually be all the time I get to invest in my gaming before this CG ends. To entire point is that if we *all* do a little bit, then we *all* benefit in some extra reward over and above the trade value earned. And the trade value was better than the average anyway.

Together.

Together, is the only way to go about this.

Not "have me beat".
