CN BOOTIS

Ok gang, apologies in advance for the wall of text, and for the fact that no matter how many paragraph breaks I put in, this forum doesn't see them. Short version, I want to invte all of you good people to join me in the system CN BOOTIS, because it is an amazing wealth of all of the games resources!

I have hesitated to post this information for fear of inciting pirate interest, but I am just going to go for it. There's not enough player interaction in this game and I would like to generate some! If they do come around and become too oppressive and we can't fight them off we can always switch into offline group mode (scandalous, I know!). Longer, detailed version to follow.

I have explored about 180 star systems and I have finally found the most ideal star system just 40 light years or so from Eranin. It is called CN BOOTIS, and I would like to invite you all to join me there. It is an independent government with no affiliation to one of the big 3 governments. So you get patrol ships, but no Fed, Empire, or Alliance presence. The features of this system are nearly as follows:

Three docking stations - one of higher tech level, and black market, and the other two are the more distant stations where they don't scan you.

The main station (system government so you can pick up bounties here) in the system is right inside of the star's nav. point, so you jump in, and viola, station. It just gets better from there.

There are 6 (SIX!) Resource Extraction Sites in the system. Three of them are close to the first station, and 3 a little deeper into the system. I regularly net over 200k credits per half hour in easy NPC pirate kills with system patrol assistance, and I don't work hard at it, I just tool around. Occasionally an 80k+ npc bounty ship shows up to play...I have mined a little at the first 3 RES and have found silver in all of them. Who knows what else may lurk, I am not patient enough for solo mining.

There are 7 "asteroid belts". With resources. I have found plenty of most minerals in them.

This is just scratching the surface. The system has SO many stellar and planetary objects...it's crazy. Two or three pages full on the nagivation page.

There is a wealth of...everything...in the surrounding star systems. There are Federation, Independant, and anarchy systems right next door. Within a couple of systems in either direction there are fantastic trading hubs if you want to haul stuff from one port to another. In Dea Matrona next door you can find a rare commodity (Matrona Experience Gel(?) and slaves for sale. They also buy Imperial slaves there...although it's a 1.7 mil ls haul to get there.

I am posting because I would like to invite all of you to join me over there. I am getting kinda bored doing this by myself and I hope a shared MMO experience can make it more interesting for us all. Let's make a real PC population hub in the game. Invite your friends. We can mine the RES together and hunt pirates in system, and next door in the anarchy system if we want, and if you want to fight in the war, Eranin is just 40 light years away. It's all there waiting in the most perfect, untouched system I have seen in game.

Please, come join me.

PS someone teach me how to make a paragraph break here!

I have been asked, nicely, by Darque to redact my joke. I have done so.

Can I have my wife and kids back now? :)

I know, that's what some people will think. Usually those are the people one cannot trust. It's a high security system with patrol craft. If you doubt it, get in a cheap sidewinder and come check it out, or you can check out our facebook page as well. Search for Elite Dangerous: CN Bootis or this should be the direct link if I didn't screw it up https://www.facebook.com/Cnbootis

It's hard enough to get something like this started without people attacking it to further their own ends. Just sayin'

BTW we have the main faction's control up to 66% today and growing.

I look forward to seeing you there. As a side note, it's pretty easy to jump into a rare commodity training loop as well if you are into that. I was just in Lave-Leesti yesterday, and was also doing a couple of others.

I had this great mission offered to me yesterday in either Lave or Leesti - whichever one has the station George Lucas. "Can you be the hero George Lucas needs?", something like that haha.
