Coaster construction stats

Something that I feel will be very useful for building roller coasters is to have realtime statistics as in No Limits 2, such as velocity and forces. This way, when building a roller coaster, players will be able to see in realtime the velocity and G-forces of the track as they're building it. You will be able to see immediately if the current section of track you're placing is suitable. You could see the velocity of the train and check that it's high enough for the train to complete the whole circuit, and you could check the G-forces at every point along the track to see if each curve is comfortable and safe. The "Smooth" option in the coaster builder could also be extended to smooth/bank out a curved section to nullify lateral G-forces, like in NL2.

In RCT3 you could only really check if the train was able to complete the track by testing it, either during construction (the ghost train) or when finished, but you had to wait for the train to reach the section of track you wanted to test, or complete the whole circuit. Same thing with G-forces, the train had to complete the circuit for the statistics window to display the highest and average G-forces of the track, but you couldn't check each section of track.

This would make coaster building so much easier, and cheaper as it saves money and time having to test it over and over again, and modifying it over and over again, through trial-and-error.

Damn just wanted to post nearly the same :D I fully agree! Realtime G forces is a MUST HAVE! Pleaaaseeee [heart][yesnod] Also the extended smooth button. Would make everything less time consuming and more perfect :)

Would love something like an arrow pointing every few step in the g-force direction. Also perhaps additional calculated speed written on each step.
But all of the Coaster stats should be select and unselectable in the builder menu.

A graph perhaps. Following the track.
