Coaster through the disko!

Finally found something to make use of that bridge on the disko ride!!

This is also my first attempt at making a full coaster, scenery/station still a work in progress (although I'll probably can it and start on something new tomorrow)!

I have to say the hardest thing about this game is that it's so damn pretty I just end up gawping at it lol. The coaster editor does def need some more work to get better results though. Gonna wait until it's 'officially' in alpha before commenting too much though.

Hey nice work, Deuce!

I agree about the gawping. I actually waste a lot of time using guest cam as I walk around in amazement, though unlike my alter ego, I'm drooling. The feeling of walking through a theme park is spot on!

This is why I hope people really get into sharing parks, as it would be a shame to only see video productions.

Nice, didn't know it was possible. Heck, I didn't think ANYTHING was possible with that gap in the Disko ride as the guests always avoid it like the plague regardless of how I position the entrance and exit....

So true! First person view is a joy, and parks should be shared. I'm sure they will be too. I foresee a future of people making parks to show off on YouTube, not just coasters as was more the way with RCT3. And I think people will want to experience those parks first hand. Also park sharing could be a thing... Split a map into 4 parts and take turns to design a quadrant each. I get the impression Frontier has much bigger plans for sharing/multiplayer than they have given details of so far!!

Ages ago they showed some early footage that did have a path passing under the disko... Then more recently in a stream they said something about more work being required on the disko platform/station... I think the ride will probably be updated pretty soon. That bridge is clearly supposed make it possible for stuff to pass under. Also real world examples of the ride nearly always pass a walkway under the bridge.

But for now, I'm just glad to find a use for it - even though the track and train (and riders heads...) only just fit. If a tall guest rides my coaster, they will die. [yesnod]
