Cobra, 500k fsd drive?

I've flown around for ages now trying to find a 500k ish fsd drive for my cobra, last piece of the kit I need for exploration cobra. Currently using the 180k ish fsd drive, I can see the 1.6 mill fsd drive all over the place (currently in lhs 3262) but no 500k ish drive. Its driving me mental, I have 1.2 mill left and really want to finish my ship now.
fsd drive i have now gives me 16/17ly, the big 1.6 mill gives 25ly ish.....there MUST be one inbetween, please tell me there is

yes there is one around 500k but it is more rare than the 1.6M one...

i have it now on my cobra but it take some time to find it, where always seeing the 1.6M one but never the 500k ^^

there is one for 500k yes I use it, "hertans" system has it I forgrt the name of the station tho sorry.

Try G 180-18 Hale port, They have the A and B class 3 and 4 Fsd's Looking at them now so definately still available.

A3 507k
B3 169k
A4 1.6 mill
B4 536k

Class 4 E is fitted as standard

They have the full range of other modules as well.

System is 26.46 ly from LHS 3262

Look for Hightech systems and shop ya expensive equipment there.

The 10 Ly does not make that big difference in my opinion in the end, to justify shelling out so much on it. In the end, it adds about 3-4 additional jumps to long distance travel, which is basically nothing.

Out of interest, what is a good fuel scoop for an exploration Cobra? Do you use a class 2 slot or one of the class 4 slots?

I got the A4 from Jameson Memorial in Shinrarta Denzelwashingtonwhatever...decked out my Cobra for exploration. Adv disc & land scanners, no cargo. Top notch fuel scoop too: makes the difference.

Made swift work of getting out to Peregrina. Parked it in a nearby system and bought another Cobra which I'm kitting out for local combat / cargo missions...see if I can get the Aristocrats of Peregrina to like me, pick up a permit and see what all this PLAGUE WORLD / ALIEN ARTEFACTS nonsense is about...

Found one in G 180-18 at Hale, just over 500k. Now sitting pretty on 20/21 ly, depending on fuel, much better, feels "right":)

Im using a class 2 B fuel scoop and a 16t fuel tank, no complaints so far

If you somewhere near "Arth" or "Zeta Trianguli Australis" they got also everything.

Yes this community kicks ass ! Never saw such friendly and helpfull people in any other community :)
