Newcomer / Intro COBRA MK 3 WEAPONS AND HARD POINTS

I CURRENTLY HAVE 2X 2F GIMBALED MULTI CANNONS MOUNTED ON MY MEDIUM HARD POINTS, TOP OF SHIP. AND 2 GIMBALLED BEAM LASERS ON SMALL, UNDER SHIP. I NOTICED MY LASERS DONT ALWAYS FIRE. I USALLY TRACK MY TARGET HIGH IN MY VIEW AND I HAVE READ THAT THEY MAY NOT FIRE DUE TO THE BEAM HAVING TO GO THRU THE SHIP. IF THIS IS TRUE CAN I SWAP HARD POINT LOCATIONS SINCE I GET CLOSE WHEN TARGET SHIELDS DROP AND THE ANGLE IS LESS. DOES THIS MAKE SENSE AND WILL IT WORK OR DO I NEED TO ADJUST MY FLYING OR ANGLE OF ATTACK.

Yes gimballed weapons won't fire through your ship so you will have to be aware of your position relative to the target to ensure hits.
The weapons will also stop firing if you have emptied the Wep capacitor column in the lower right of your cockpit.

You can change what weapons are on which hardpoint while docked at a station with outfitting but you can't move the hardpoints.

Please don't post in all upper case letters it is considered shouting and it is harder to read.
