Ships Cobra MK IV Exploring Build

Hey, guys I'm here with another ship building guide to making a great exploring ship. That ship today would be the Cobra MK IV. It is one of my favorite ships in the game and does combat and exploring well! I hope you all like the video and tell me in the comments of the video what you thought of it. I know people really like these videos!

The cobra mk iv is a terrible ship, it's 'exclusive' to horizon pre-orders only. The mk III is better for exploration. Even the lowly hauler is better for exploration...

I wasn't aware that the Cobra MkIV did anything well.
It does a SINGLE thing well, corrosive resistant cargo racks on a small ship. It has the most internals of all the non-large pad ships.

The Python has 9 slots with bigger internals :D

The Cobra MkIV makes for a decent little mining ship as long as you mine in safe places where you won’t be attacked. And you can make small trade runs in it as long as you don’t need to run from anyone while doing so. I’ve also taken mine surface salvaging a few times just to give it something to do. Sure there are better ships for all of these tasks, but….yeah, I don’t know what my point was.

Basically flying a Cobra MkIV is like playing Elite Dangerous in hard mode, LOL.

I'd rather use my Cobra Mk. III, The Ranger; that's for sure. I have access to the Cobra Mk. IV and generally prefer using small ships in the game, but I don't bother with it.

That being said, there are some out there who do seem to like using it for some reason or another.

Doesn't matter much, it can travel a tad faster than the AspX according to some buckyballers.

Eh...I don't see how. But I'm not going to argue with those guys. Like all things, it's a personal preference thing. My left eye starts twitching if I have to throttle down and wait on my fuel scoop to, well, scoop.

In general, I'd much rather use my Vulture, The Ronin for exploration.

Exploring in a Vulture.

Rep'd for the dedication...and insanity.

Why oh why the Cobra Mk IV - You need an IV to purchase one to sedate you for the most non moment of your ED experience.

I could be biased there adn my view does not in anyway reflect the views of those sad folks who parted with hard earned (cough) credits.

Good experiment though just not my kinda ship.

V2k.

Npc's like it, most of the pirates of ailing council, in the current cg are cobra mk IVs, Good for multi-cannon fodder.
