Ships Cobra MK IV to buy?

I hardly can't wait till the Cobra MK IV will be available. But: Unfortunately I'm a Mac Player and it will take a longer time till Horizons will be available for me - IF I can play it - I own something they call a "low spec mac" and I'm afraid my GPU won't handle the graphics ...

So: Is there a way to own a Cobra MK IV anyway? Will it be possible to buy ingame?

Unlikely I'm afraid as it seems like it will be in the horizons installer.
Maybe 1.5 ships will have some joy for you.

I'm sure it's not "exclusive" to PC at all. From what FD are saying Cobra Ml IV will be available to all players on all platforms who purchase horizons.
No horizons no Mk IV apparently. How this translates in game is still speculation. I would hope it's a ship available as an in game shipyard purchase like any other ship. A freebee would seem a little crass.

Could X-Box players not purchase the lifetime expansion pass? As that would have given this ship

I think it's fair for those who paid £90+ or so in the kickstarter get at least some extras, apart from being able to visit one extra system :)

I assume if you backed the kickstarter at the level where you get all future expansions expansion specific content such as the Mk IV are included in that. Would still rather see the Mk I and some sort of on off story event that you could complete and get the never seen Mk II prototype.
