The Cobra V5

I may have a look at it after xmas to see if it is any good.

I tried out the previous incarnation - Cobra M5 and was totally underwhelmed. Some people loved it but to me it was loose and fussy with a hopeless 3-way mode switch. At least getting it on Amazon means you would have less trouble returning it than was the case with the East-European supplier I had to contend with.

A review of that stick is on the yootoob https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qsrt_Sc4Seo you can see how similar it looks.

The new version is by a different company that I believe has bought the design from VKB. I will give it a go. I have a stop gap joystick at the moment which is a very cheap Trust Predator for £10. My X52pro kicked the bucket which was upsetting.

I don't have the Cobra, but I've a similar copy by I believe an eastern european group.I already had a CH Fighterstick so gave the copy to my son. It's nice and accurate, just a little lacking in buttons on the stick itself. Hardly a surprise as it's modeled to resemble the stick in the Messerschmidt BF109.Assuming it's on par with the copy that I have, for the money, it's very good.

M5 Cobra is really accurate, cost 40 quid and feels indestructible. I've had mine nearly three years and it feels just as good as day one. I use it with an X52 throttle, since my X52 stick started to fail.
