Cockpit Aging

Apologies if this has already been covered. It seems obvious but I haven't found anything after searching.

The cockpits of some ships (Viper and Cobra spring to mind) look like they've seen plenty of use from the very first flight, whilst the Hauler interior looks brand spanking new.

It would be nice to have the cockpit start out new and age with use.

(I can understand the cockpit of the loaner Sidewinder you start with looking beaten up btw)

Yes, they will have something like that eventually.

I also made the suggestion that different stations may repair your ship in a slightly different way so that a high tech core station will use the best original parts while the frontier anarchic systems may have to patch things up with substandard parts which would be evident by either an extra hanging wire or gaps between plates or things that are the wrong colour or screws that are protruding etc or even just utilising second hand parts.
