Hi all,
My recently posted hyperdrive button was just the first step... version 2 of the cockpit control panel has just had its initial test flight
Have a look here, hope you like
The layout was designed in Publisher just as a way of grouping the buttons into a logical arrangement, they'll be a little more aesthetically pleasing in later versions! It was then printed on A3 and attached to a piece of foamboard. This is light but a bit more rigid than cardboard, but still very easy to cut for the button holes. The buttons were all ordered from arcadeworlduk.com, as well as a daisy-chain to ground each one. Cabling between the buttons and ipac interface was then done with some stripped cat5 network cable... perfect!
