cockpit information

Sorry if this has already been suggested:

1. How hard could it be to add a couple of status LED's. I can think of two I was dearly like to see.

(1) One to let me know my weapons are deployed.

(2) One to let me know when my lights are on.

The lights are not terribly important but the weapons one has actually got me into trouble on a number of ocassions flying into station with weapons deployed because I simply cannot see them from the cockpit! Also may a low fuel warning or alert of some kind along the lines of ... Bingo Bingo Bingo alert of military aircraft.

Maybe a tone for someone trying to lock on an interdictor?

On the topic of interdictors. The game UI cheats! I cannot tell you the number of times I see a message that someone has found me. Then I check the radar and there is nothing there. Then instantly a ship will pop into existance and in less time then a player has to lock on and interdict I am instantly interdicted.

Maybe some better utility or hardpoint options to evade mass lock interdictions. There is nothing and I mean NOTHING more frustrating then to know if an NPC announces you are his target you are goinf to be interdicted 100% of the time while I am in my trade or passenger conda by another by another conda or high mass lock factor ship and being mass locked and literally having no way to defend or escape!

I drop chaff and the conda still just rips apart my shield!, I have point defense but that appears to do nothing, I drop shock and normal mines and they just fly off aimlessly!!!! If I add SCB's then I have to add heat sync's and now I can chopping my range and passenger capacity!!!!

Mean while I watch my FSD charge crawl at what feels like 1 bar every 30 seconds as I am ripped a new        ! I am not     ting you. If I see an announce that I am being targeted and I look at contracts and see a conda, and then get instantly interdicted I have about a 1 in 10 chance of not losing my ship, passenger, rep, and data! That is just ridiculous and as stated RAGE and BASH COMPUTER and QUIT GAME inducing!

If I am fuel scooping and get interdicted my a mass locking ship I just get up and get a cup of coffee and turn on the tv for 30 minutes and come back to the rebuy screen because of the gheyness that is the inescapable, undefendable, cheating NPC AI game logic!!!!

There should never be a situation where I should have to just say "Well I lose! and not even be worth trying to defend or escape!" That is just poor design.
 
Interdiction is like a finger trap, the more you fight it the harder it is... but if you relax, the trap is easy to get out of.

If you get interdicted, throttle down, submit and your FSD takes less than half the time to cool down... just boost your way away from the combatant and FSD when you can

if a player interdicts you, its the same tactic, except if they keep indicting you... in which case you do all the above, but at the last second cancel the FSD and watch your silly attack go bye bye as he gets no warning your not jumping.... then pick another star system and get out for a few moments to let the bandit get bored and move on.

works for me all the time when I cannot be bothered making the swashbuckling scallywag pay for his crimes!
