Cockpit 'paint jobs'?

So I finally decided to buy an Anaconda and I'm really not keen on the decor. It looks like it has a late 80's motel theme or something going on. I started thinking 'if only the flooring was black and the lighting was a bit dimmer' and then it struck me, a feature wall and some scatter cushions would work wonders But seriously, wouldn't it be great if they sold DLC cockpit upgrades? On a monitor the cockpit detail is almost irrelevant but in VR it's much more important. I'd happily pay to lose that hideous orange flooring so thought I'd put the idea out there.

This has been suggested numerous times - I think I've made at least two threads about it myself and most responses were quite poitive. No official response by frontier unfortunately.

I'd say it's a far more obvious DLC rather than ship skins, but I guess they must be a lot more work than a simple paint pack.

A shame - I'd really love a black piano lacquer trim in my Cutters bridge to go with the black friday skin.

They may not have read the threads, so keep suggesting it . More importantly I'd say it's so blatantly obvious they must have thought of it themselves - that's why I guess it's probably too much work to be profitable according to FDs projections.

Yeah would like to see "alternate interiors" such as leather instead of just a different coat of paint, but it's an awesome idea. Something you can do for personalisation that you actually see in game
