Cockpit Sound System

A simple interface that lets you play music stored on your computer that comes across the ship speaker system so it gives an enclosed sound or small space sound effect.

I've tried to do this with Foobar to no avail, I'm sure the peeps at FD could manage this.

I'd love to listen to some Mozart, Beethoven and Bach while flying through space that actually sounds like it's coming from inside the ship

I would imagine that something like this would be low on their list of priorities, but it would be nice.

Yes a media player in the cockpit would be a great addition, asked for before but yes lets ask as often as we can.

Meanwhile, if you use VA then you can add gamemusicpacks to that, this includes a media player as well as it's own - I like it as I can play my own playlists or listen to internet radio "in the ship", no alt-tabbing, no borderless with a VLC overlay and it is voice-command-driven.
