Cockpit wear and tear?

Hi all,

I'm currently about 2000 jumps into a voyage around the galactic core and have noticed some changes in my Anaconda's cockpit. The consoles and floors have dirty/faded/scuffed areas that I swear were not there before.

Does wear and tear also affect the graphics in one's cockpit?

Can I buy a 7A broom and dust pan?

I've noticed a few scratches too. Maybe when we get to walk about our ships we'll be allowed to clean up a little, hehehe

I'm starting to notice these orange smudges vaguely resembling Cheetos stains around the flight stick/armrest area. Could be Doritos, though. Need to check in the light next time I'm close to a bright star.

I always try to jettison the wrappers and empty bottles in witchspace. Much cleaner that way.

I got some scuffs to the interior of my Conda after a while. They didn't get repaired along with the rest of the paintwork & systems when I docked and don't seem to have gotten any worse since then. I'm still not convinced about the wires tacked to the cockpit ceiling; when we spend so much I think it's reasonable to expect some decent ducting!

When the debug camera was first released I remember seeing what looked like oil streaks on the exterior of the Cobra I was exploring in then. But a few weeks later by the time I got home they seemed to have disappeared.

not sure if it's related, but I've noticed that when I'm really close to the star, and receiving lots of heat, there's a faint hint of mist above many of the cockpit interior bits.

Like stuff is evaporating off the console surfaces. :O

So that'd be why your ship'd look a bit untidy after a while.

I wish the texture on that suit (and many other part of the cockpit in fact) was higher resolution :/ It always bugged me!

I've pretty much noticed the main console in the Asp's cockpit was fairly worn looking from the moment I bought it. I think someone's been tampering with the odometer so they can sell a used ship under new.

Do you mean the smoke from overheating or something else?

Come to think of it, they were awfully eager to make me a deal on that Anaconda...
Gotta wonder how they can sell at such a discount at Founders World.
