It's sure a bummer. At least for someone new to the game. Long time players prolly don't much care.
Making discoveries and being told to "Press 'O'" to read about them .... but can't ... <sigh>
What I find particularly odd is that despite this bug existing across all platforms, the testers are apparently not able to reliably reproduce it. Us users sure do tho. 100% of the time.
I mean ... Okay. PCs can have widely varying system configurations that can affect things oddly and unexpectedly. Hardware, manufacturers, driver versions. Sure. I can see how that can be tricky sometimes.
But consoles? what? Can't reliably reproduce it? ... How?

A console is a console is a console, no? They aren't configured different with varying hardware and hardware brands and other software and whatnot. A console is consistently the same thing for all users. Which is a big part of their popularity for gaming over PC.
Or perhaps I misunderstand consoles. ... Yes, you can get different versions. More RAM or drive space AFAIK. Regardless, it's all totally standardized and assumedly easy to test by having one of each model of each system. Tax write-off even. Business expenses. Product testing equipment.
.
anyhow ...
VERDAMMT! I hope they fix it soon.
This is like the opposite of Cyberpunk 2077. Updates keep breaking more and more stuff LOL
