This is standard issue in Fed ships and the Krait. Imperials have butlers.

You run the risk of the long rumoured cockpit cat knocking it over in the middle of battle, fine in the T9 where the 2 co-pilots get it but in a nice FDL or Cutter do you really want it all over the floor?

I actually agree with this. It's just not right having easy access to delicious coffee in only a handful of ships.

Not going to lie, at first the request seemed a bit silly. But now that i think of it, it would add a little bit of immersion if we could choose some options when buying a new ship.

Something similar to "trim levels" when buying a car. Like give us the option for real wood dash, leather trimmed seats, coffeemaker, etc. i would be down for that
