if the score dictates the amount you get paid, what chages the "happiness" factor. what makes it go up/down. ive built a aood mix of industrial and consumer focused ports including bars/hydroponics/ mining and refinery,
b) I believe the happiness factor is not based on the facilities built. It is based on the NPC factions in the system. If you do things that make the factions happy (ex: missions) then the happiness score goes up. Slaughter a bunch of innocents and it goes down. A happiness score of 0 isn't bad. Its just fine. The weekly payment is trivial anyway so any benefit from happiness is also trivial.
