It must have been pretty low on the priority list for it to take until now, but thanks a lot, FD, for finally reworking the options screen! 
As someone playing on two different PCs with two different control setups, who's also gone through two different HOTAS, I very much appreciate the change.
In hindsight, these sections are a lot better than tabs even, which were the first thing coming to my mind when I had to set up the controls. The hierarchically collapsible sections still allow to have everything on one screen without switching around completely.
