Collector limpets expires after cargo delivery

Hello commanders,

I wanted to give the piracy business another shot. When I finally found a tasty Type 9, I discovered that every time my collector drone puts a container in my cargo bay the drone expires immediately.
I'm sure that the drones worked for several minutes, when I used them for mining a while ago. Did something change, or am I doing something wrong? I'm using a C3 collector limpet controller in my Clipper and when the drones do their business my cargo scoop is open and the ship is at a complete stop.

Yeah, if the cops are chasing you, you can make sure the limpet picks up that one you really want first, at the cost of losing it after that one collect. Otherwise it might pootle along grabbing all the canisters of scrap like an overenthusiastic dog playing fetch and ignoring the ton of painite. It's an option.
