Decided to dust off the mining clipper and work the pristine metallic ring for the platinum needed for the latest trade CG. It's been about 3 months since I did any mining, but I noticed this time around the limpets seem to have lost some of their suicidal tendencies. Normally when I get low on limpets I start bobbing and weaving through the ring, using the laser to sample rocks, moving from one to another before using a prospector. When I do that, any collector limpets I have out pick up the sample and then chase me down as I move to the next location and repeat. They almost always impacted on rocks and hardly ever survived until my next good target, but this time around I lost hardly any!
Good work FD
! The RNGods did not smile on me much for yields, but at least the annoyance of self destructing limpets is much much less
