I found a Listening Post orbiting Colonia 2 B. Scanned it and got a message talking about a "private military outfit" (INRA?) "operating outside the realm of the usual powers". It goes on about how they are looking for alien encounters and tech (Thargoids?) And, basically, kidnapping people in escape pods, (coincidence that Thargoids have been taking occupied escape pods from combat sites?) and experimenting on them.
But, with further research, on the forums, it seems this is a broken, dropped ball opportunity for the Frontier Devs to tie Colonia in with the Thargoids incursion.
I was kind of amped having found the initial scan. Thinking, "Holy crap. They plan to tie Colonia in with INRA and maybe have a few Thargoid encounters clear out here."
Why else would the new Anti-Thargoid weapons and equipment be available at Colonia Hub?
