Lesseee...

One major station, no shipyard, no habitable planet. just some planetary and space outpost.
Superpower?

Anyway, how long Jacques station stays in it's current place before ignites his drives once again, to head toward his real destination?

Factually very incorrect. You're behind the times, I'm afraid.

There's a shipyard, got repaired a while back.

As far i know, Jacques station is the only major space station In Colonia, and that place is not really a station but a supership equipped with Frame shift drives, and i don't except it will going to stay. Do you meant there is other?

Jaques' station is a Orbis-station afaik.

Most of those are equipped with drives and thrusters to maneuver them into position. :)

True! :) But not frame shift drive, have you read the Elite II Frontier Novells? There was mentioned Jacques bought the station and slowly equipping it with Interplanetary drive system so he can go explore the galaxy, i don't except the station will stays, and thats the only decent place in Colonia, Without it is just a bunch of outposts incapable to self sustenance, not to mention growth, and also the only place you can buy ships.

Hey, i missed about one entire years since i started play with ED and i'm just barely over my 7th week game time, still busy with getting superpower and Elite ranks. No time to in game policy. :D
But still... be honest! Colonia is just not in the same weight class like the 2 real superpower and not anywhere near to The loose organization of the Alliance.

Oh, sure, earlier in this very thread I argued Colonia isn't a superpower but more like many different embassies in the same area. The most I think Colonia could hope for is being sort of an island nation made up of its various factions - some more of which are being added as I type this with the update.

Since the update Colonia Dream is now a hi-tech station and the area has a megaship IN AN ICE RING

In light of the the article currently on galnet about the large influx of migrants coming to colonia because of the cold war between the empire and the federation, would it be far fetched to imagine that it will become a new super power ?
Not without lots of shipyards, additional modules and population.

if it can fend off the other super powers on their way to establish themselves, then sure.
