Colonia Bridge Post Phase 3 Suggestion

I was mildly surprised to see the new starports being placed in systems that already have megaships. Combine that with some megaships already sharing systems with old installations, these suckers should be mobile :D

Imagine just heading to the first jump off system... docking aboard whatever CB megaship is nearby, and in a day come back to hop off at Colonia's end! Miss the stop? Hop off and jump on the next one coming back by! Jump off anywhere along the route to visit static bridge stations. Go exploring and come back to sell and move along the path. You get the idea. Time based on a 25 minute departure schedule.

They're megaships, lets get them being taxis :D And it would also make more logistical sense for how all these new outcroppings of civilization are getting supplies.

Also there's at least one spot where the gap is more than 500LY so if this is meant to be a FC route for refueling, there should be some minor adjustments and a HELL of a lot more Tritium available on the carriers at any given time. The NPC's should basically live to mine :p

Well I'll flush it out a little more now that I've travelled the whole thing:

  • Regardless of mobility, the CB systems should be excluded entirely from BGS (except where they jump into a colonized system) - many are in undesirable faction states
  • All gaps should be brought up to just under 500 LY (and one reduced - 503 LY what lol), to make sense for Carriers, and to possibly be able to include Alcor, Colonia, and the couple 'skipped' systems that were part of the former connection in the jumps
  • Tritium could be 'restocked' to a sensible, hard to deplete amount at each end of the journey, or even at each CB3 Station/Colony
  • The 'Emergency Evacuation' procedure - like when a rescue ship leaves after a starport evac week - could be used to deposit ships at Jacques & Macdonald when each megaship completes its leg (or even a programmable destination when you dock for midway points)
  • 25 mins is probably a bit aggressive, so the jumps could all be 1 hour apart. You'd get there in a couple days instead, which would be great for weekend players and still great for casuals.
