I was mildly surprised to see the new starports being placed in systems that already have megaships. Combine that with some megaships already sharing systems with old installations, these suckers should be mobile 
Imagine just heading to the first jump off system... docking aboard whatever CB megaship is nearby, and in a day come back to hop off at Colonia's end! Miss the stop? Hop off and jump on the next one coming back by! Jump off anywhere along the route to visit static bridge stations. Go exploring and come back to sell and move along the path. You get the idea. Time based on a 25 minute departure schedule.
They're megaships, lets get them being taxis
And it would also make more logistical sense for how all these new outcroppings of civilization are getting supplies.
Also there's at least one spot where the gap is more than 500LY so if this is meant to be a FC route for refueling, there should be some minor adjustments and a HELL of a lot more Tritium available on the carriers at any given time. The NPC's should basically live to mine
