I couldn't agree more. Such a time sink in real life hours...an utter utter waste of time and reflects how the thinking is behind the scenes to make ED less of a time drain. Terrible! Absolutely everything in this game absolutely must take excessive time to complete without very much satisfaction or variety at the end and this particular CG echoes this nicely!
For some, ED is relaxation after work hours or a mean to spend the day playing a game they enjoy.
Nobody is forcing you to waste your time doing something that you obviously dont enjoy... so where is the problem?
It's your time, do with it something you enjoy.
That's the wrong kind of advice which thankfully, won't become popular nor acted on... otherwise the player base will be reduced further. No, we shouldn't say "let's make do with what we have" we should be saying "where areas of potential improvement have been identified, they should be", but that's on the Devs side of things, not ours. We're doing right in playing, whether we're grouching or not.

Nope. Not as far as i know.
But sometimes it takes longer for certain rewards to pop in cmdr's accounts. It's entirely possible they will be available today or Monday indeed.
Good job they don't give a date then for item release isn't it...Even the two last community goals have been bugged, we couldn't hand in the previous one, now this..
Also gives flossy VM something to do then on mondays to push fdev, to keep pushing for the items and rewards that have not released as soon as possible instead...

FDev should be made aware their game is not a waste of time as some other people seem to think

Yes, just checked 10 mins ago, and i got mine!
Did you get the engine colour too? I was top 75% but haven't got it yet. I'd bought the white carrier drives a while back so I can't tell if I would have been awarded that or not.
I don't play the CGs for the rewards, however with this CG I made more cash with the pure trading element than any other of the older CGs. I play the CGs because I meet other players in the Mobius group. For a time the CGs stopped and I found myself not loading Elite Dangerous as much. The reward at the end of the CG isn't the point for me, its the fun of doing it. Chatting to other pilots etc
This is how I like to play, its not for everyone so as others have posted, if its not for you don't play it. However Elite Dangerous allows the player more freedom than any other game I know. Bethesda are famous for their Open Worlds where you can play their game how you want, however even their games don't allow the freedom ED does.
Find your way of playing it, if the goals aren't for you there are so many other ways to play. I don't like PvP , never been interested so I don't do it. I don't complain about it because others love it.
