Colonia council @ Jaques

Hello guys,

This is probably something that has been discussed / announced before (any link to the relevant thread would be much appreciated, thanks), but I just noticed there is a new faction @Jaques, the Colonia Council. They aren't offering any missions, but when I sold my BH bonds, they increased my rep to Cordial. Does it mean they are in charge now ? Is it related to the Colonia-something (players group initiative).

handing in bounties issued by a minor faction always increases your reputation with tat minor faction.

we will see, how long it takes, till we have a civil war between them and Jaques for system control :-/

edit: they are both cooperatives, conflict between them would mean an election.

Damn, you mean I shouldn't BH for them if I don't want to hurt Jaques ? Shoot, and I thought I had something to do at last :-(

i ahd a look.

both factions are cooperatives. so at least there won't be a civil war between the,. conflict wold be an election.

whether that would kick out jaques from his station, who knows. maybe control is locked like at jameson memorial.

Thank you so much for the explanations goemon, I must confess I was kinda asleep during Ed's BGS streams. To your knowledge, is there a way to actively support Jaques at this point ? Or to undermine these Colonia clowns at the very least ?

there is not really a point to "support jaques" - he won't expand, because he has no system in range to expand to.

what would be nice is to keep him in boom - expansion (fails) - investment, because investment and boom brings better outfitting.

to do so, trade at his station or go mining.

maybe you can trade between the new outpost and jaques station? only helps if it generates profit - this will lead to boom, and buffer jaques influence. mining is always profit.

AFAIK, there are no new outposts yet :(
And, everytime I checked the Outfitting, it is always the same, static. Maybe it is not changing at Jaques, because it was manually added during the mining CG, heavy biased to the mining equipment and it stay the same even after the CG was over. I would like to see some decent A rated modules and better guns for bounty hunting, but there is nothing. :(

This is so awesome, we worked so hard on this one ! All those damn CGs !

I'm very proud of all the Jaques nutjobs who spent their summer building Bubble 2.0. Well guys, this is it : bubble 2.0 is a thing, GG !

Thoes months of laboring weren't for naught!

Once this gets out to the rest of the Galaxy prepare for griefers in three ... two... one... :p

All you can do for trading is bringing fuel from Jaques to Colonia Hub. At 4 cr/t profit.

If you try to turn in vouchers, you will most likely take a big hit to your reputation with the council as they don't issue enough bounties yet (but brought enough bad apples to shoot). This will still support them (essentially turning in mostly jaques vouchers at the hub), but the council will eventually turn unfriendly towards you.

Most efficient way to support the new faction while also gaining reputation right now is selling mining goods at the hub. (already brought one Python+DBS filled with painite)

Mined a bit, got Cordial with the council.

Spot on CMDR....Iv been mining for a few hours, selling at Colonia hub, buying what I can to sell at Jaques - which isn't that much. Then off to Jaques to sell what little I bought & stock up on Limpets to mine again.
