Colonia Hyford crash site - Has anyone solved this?

Commander Hyford fleed from a militirized force that operated outside of the Federarion and Empire and were based in the Pleiades. Supposedly this organisation researched alien tech and were using live human subjects for their tests. A service commander Hyford fulfilled. It wasn't known to whome they answered, but Hyford stated the chain went high.

Commander Hyford's crash site contains an unstable data core that I feel needs to be taken back there...or to someone that can interpret it. Has anyone figured out which installation it is? Colonia is sitting on a pretty big mystery, I feel.

Sounds like black flight that were involved in the thargoids return run up story, they were trying to cover up knowledge of the thargoids.

So far as I know, no-one has since managed to get anything useful out of the "unstable data core". Normal crash sites have "data cores" on board the wrecks that can be scanned with the Data Link Scanner to get a further message, and that doesn't work here.

I suspect there isn't any more to it than the general lore connections to the mysterious experiments being carried out in the Pleiades, and it's just one of many bits of content like this added in 2.3

Hmm I'm on my way to Colonia with a bunch of Thargoid tech. Thargoid sensors scan celestial bodies, and vehicles. I wonder....data too? And then maybe scan the sensor afterward?

I've been trying to find out what organisation it was for years. I had to flee to Colonia initially but am back in the bubble after exile. I'm pretty sure they are in HIP 22460 which is I believe still permit locked.

The data core is about to come out of hibernation. I was chased in the Neche, Wasat & Colonia systems before Black Flight took me down in Colonia. The data core of my T9 is going active next Thursday 26 Aug 3307. I'm waiting in Colonia to see if I can get any more info after 50 MONTHS. the Galnet news article with Kit Fowler's theories is further confirmation that we may be able to un mask Black Flight at last. As a reminder they were getting me to ship HUMANS for experimentation...as soon as I found out they weren't people needing medical aid I bugged out and they began to hunt me down...ending in the Colonia crash site.

Something is definitely about to happen.
