Last evening I heard the maple seeds were finally flying in Elite. If you're not aware of the reference there was a joke going around when the first alien crash site was found that these were all nothing more than panspermian maple seeds. I said awhile ago that if something like cylons showed up in Elite was going to take myself to Colonia and park there for the foreseeable future. I haven't wholly decided if an organic creature can be programmed, but my leanings are towards "yes". I reinstalled the game and took off for Colonia.
I was about 9000 Ly out when I remembered there are space stations out along the way now. I remembered the Erimus, Dr. Kaii, etc had been working on a Neutron Highway. I began to look that up then decided it was too much like the EM Drive to me. I just wasn't going to put that much time into finding Neutron Stars. I didn't have the resources (via Discord) say yay or nay to just how connected up all the maps had been since I last talked with people. This took me back around to doing a normal flight of my own charts out to Colonia. I thought I should tag one of the stations along the way because I hadn't seen those yet. It was then that some comments some months ago about this began to click together.
It begins with Hillary Landing and more obtusely Sacajawea.
A few months ago friends from the military and air force were taking offense. My argument was, "Yeah, it's offensive, but when you have a junta you pay out." We assumed FD was giving homage to Washington on the off chance it helped keep the game running since Washington hasn't been all that supportive of the space industry for decades. Oh sure, the explorers that the stations are named after was known to us as well.

Now, a lot of people reading this might be boggling at where I've so far gone here. Fine, whatever. For someone involved with Graphics Arts or Psychology though, this is just the ABCs.
- I would encourage anyone who is really interested in 'the language of archetypes' to stop now and go watch Professor Jordan Peterson on YouTube (while it is still available).

See, there is a very important struggle going on for Science (and academia) right now. The Social Justice Movement via the Bill C16 in Canada has declared Gender to NOT be rooted in Biology.
Process that.
Further, there is a 250,000 dollar (Canadian) fine associated with this. Presently it affects Canadian Federal Institutions, but the wider impact is truly cancerous. Gender is LEGALLY disassociated from Biology.
This means if you are teaching Biology you could be legally taken to court for teaching anything to do with Alleles since that is linked to Gender. Merely mentioning Gender in the context of SCIENCE could be legally construed as a HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATION.
Process that.
This would mean that teaching Biology (a science) would necessarily have to "adapt" (remove) those elements of the Science which include Gender. Think it will end with just Biology? Oh no.
How does this relate to Hillary and Sacaqawea?
If I were to name something the formal (and traditional) method is to name it by its last name. However, overtime the person with whom the name is connected becomes disassociated from the person to become a name whose meaning is RELATIVE to the place itself and whatsoever incidents have occurred there.
I strongly urge the player community to help FD a bit here - and our real life civilization as well - by constructing some posters. I'm not kidding.
1. Cultural Relativism is killing us.
2. The Disassociation from Meaning towards Social-Relativism FOR Meaning is a cancer
- no different than the results of hugging an unshielded radioactive thermaelectric generator.
3. This cancer propagates by Trend and Lawfare (warfare by laws) which can enact a genocide as serious as any which does murder to a person.
4. The goal of these Trends and Lawfares within the Social Justice Movement is to disassociate HISTORICALLY MEANING towards TRENDED MEANING. Please note the "ed" of Trend here as to imply "deliberately orchestrated towards an affecting purpose"
5. All of this is aimed at a Trend (warfare tool) to DE-Legitamize our cultures, histories, and societies (social arguments) as the foundations of a totalitarian regime
Hillary Landing in SKAUDAI:
- Was constructed as a monument to an Explorer of OUR (the human race's) collective HISTORY.
- By TRENDING and RELATIVISM it is instead being associated with Hillary Clinton
- Depending on where you stand with this (the dangerous thing of Trending) you WILL see this as Frontier putting up a monument to: A debased tyrant representative of a group attempting to overthrow the US Republic, a politician defamed by post-truth tactics, couldn't give a crud, and etc.
- Trending-Relativisms as a FORMAT FOR SOCIAL ORDER and AGREEMENT in fact make it IMPOSSIBLE the ALLOWANCE for either Order or Agreement since both would violate the conditional-ARRANGEMENT (usually forced condition) of TRENDING and RELATIVISM.
I think by now you can see how this can get out of hand rather quickly. Also how very asinine arguments can get started and yet appear incredibly so vital, valid, and inflammatory.
I DO NOT here try to make ANY claim that Frontier supports nor was intended to support any of this. Rather, I want to just throw a wrench in the whole system that got this ball tumbling around.

- This way we can start to combat this kind of meme-warefare before the SJW shows up amongst us and declares that the whole game needs to be shutdown for not being Trendy and Relative enough.
