Colonisation questions for Frontier Unlocked

That is most likely reason that came from discussions in other threads. But all of that are our speculations. Would be nice to get detailed information from Frontier about that and all other questions we might have.

We already have many threads with discussions. That is why this thread - to ask questions ONLY - so maybe it would be easier for Community Managers, Developers to find questions, we as a community are interested in getting answers for, in one easy to navigate thread, instead of digging them up in countless discussions posts - that could up our chances to get more meaningful information.

If anyone wants to discuss and speculate about possible answers for these questions - there are Thread, Thread, Thread, Thread, and many others, one can even quote a message from this thread and post a reply in any other thread.

We still have a month until Frontier Unlock. If anyone comes up with a question they are interested in - post it here. Thank you!

Grumbles a bit and wanders off to another thread.

Well, with Colonisation arriving sooner than FU, the only two question that we won't get our hands on would be:

- Will there ever be a possibility of a long range Colonisation to establish remote colonies way outside the current inhabited space? Another type of beacon/colonization process? What minimum and maximum ranges for long range Colonisation are possible?

- What long-term plans are you entertaining for Colonisation - possibility to terraform planets, create larger cities, CMS gameplay, anything?

I'm guessing frontier have been working on this update for quite some time, over a year?
All mechanics will be fixed. Maybe a few suggestions were added along the way? Who knows these things?
We will be receiving pretty much the finished produced. And as colonisation will be tied into the BGS sim and PP. I'm also guessing there will be very little leeway as we will be creating already existing structures (all be it with perhaps juggling them around) within a fixed catalogue.
Keen to see how (if any) customisations will be included.

Will the Colonization Contact "live" in the "Contacts" Menu? (silly question right?)
Will the Colonization Contact have a kiosk in the Concourse?
Will Colonization have a progression sequence organized similar to Powerplay loyalty "levels"?

❔If I detest the PMF trying to colonise my neighbourhood of ten years, can I slow or sabotage their efforts somehow - hoping that they eventually give up or go broke and abandon their colonization attempt❓
❔Will there be consequences if colonisation is not completed within x ticks❓

If you plant a beacon and don't start building in a week the beacon will vanish and other people can claim the system, if you start building the first star port and it isn't finished in X number of weeks (I think 4?) it will fail and the system will become available for other people to claim, seems simple enough and explained enough times already. Once the first star port is finished the system architect becomes permanent.
