Not just colonists but everything needed to start a colony, every piece of machinery required.
Then people, then the people work and mine stuff then you bring the stuff off to sell and its your litle colony.
That would be nice.
CGs are a bit rubbish. This kind of thing should be automated, and population should be a variable, not a constant.
Gee, if only I knew about the BGS...Unfortunately the BGS doesn't work that way. The design is intended to always pull everything back to an average point. If it was a real simulation it would model the populations and automatically generate colonist groups when there was a population excess, turbulent political situation, faction war, etc.
