Colonization around Colonia?

This is why I want to start branching out towards Colonia from the bubble - it would be a cool challenge to make a bridge.

The way it's set up at the moment, you'd get some really annoying interactions with Detention Centres if you colonised away from the bubble.

- go over to Explorers' Anchorage
- use Squadron Allegiance to bring in a Federal faction
- put them in charge of a bunch of local systems with the BGS
- anyone getting a bounty with them gets sent right back to the bubble because that's the nearest Federal DC

I don't expect that to be relaxed until Frontier either have a solution to that problem or decide that it would be really funny.

Lol. But I think you're analysing this far more deeply than fdev - the people who gave us Colonisation based upon vast numbers of CMMC without seeming to realise what the supply was at all :D

Edit: I think it's maybe more likely that they plan to open up the 'outside bubble' colonisation with Vanguards. Solo colonisation doesn't make a lot of sense away from the big supply markets, but would be a fun challenge for groups of players - and that would benefit from in-game support in the form of Vanguards. I guess we'll see in a few months. And soon after that they'll be adding new Detention locations, as they will have still been forgotten :)
