Colonization - feedback on this wild west...

Thank you for this new gameplay and experience.

  • Something that we have noticed. It reshuffles the card and can also be used as an aggression tool for BGS and Power play potentially.
  • Terrible far west feeling where anyone can take over anything for this I thought of some modalities that should have been available from the get go:
.1 Pull the plug: the sponsor chosen to build, in agreement with someone contacting them, maybe an ally can deny the architect and pay them back to do architecture elsewhere.
.2 Only open: allow operations to be countered!
.3 Allow a "bribe" (this can be done anyway outside of the game already by contacting the architects who took the place you wanted to be architect of) however this turns and anyway Colonization is already a "bargaining chip" by nature, which makes it very not cool thing ...

If someone was trying to build a story around a faction this savage far west of taking over projects does deny FOREVER the lore creation so it is cannibalizing the content creation by players. For pure Architect greed of building something wherever they want. (sure I do not assume others haven't their plans and motivations!, good ones sure)

I can't still understand what this "story of the Third faction" means as I can't discern from what is written what it does implies as it seems to leave a lot implicit and thus it's hard to understand, I have also been explained but can't understand as also explainers do leave stuff implicitly out of the explanation...

This.. I can't understand... it would have been nice if devs could have been clearer (I understand that stuff is ok to be a little enigmatic so people do have to talk to each other or anyway try to understand stuff by "researching" or experimenting.. but ... it's not cool as I can't understand

How is this gonna be happening? After 2 factions get into the system the third immediately will appear? Or after 7 get in there will be an invading on the 3rd ranked that is the one of the Architect?.. It's just HOW, when what?.. it's not explained.

Along For The Ride​

The third faction in a newly colonised system will be the one the System Architect's squadron is aligned to - giving you a direct way to spread BGS factions further outside the bubble.
