Color banding issues made me switch from Rift to Vive and all looks good for VR in Vive now.
Since I've upgraded my 980 to 1080 gpu I've decided to get Dell S2417dg 1440p monitor (plus it was on sale).
I decided to try play in desktop mode and to my surprise the picture quality in ED has same color banding issues!
The monitor is connected via DP and everything nvidia panel has full color range enabled. I've tried playing in 1080p resolution with no improvement.
The only thing that help reduce the banding effect is to switch color setting to NVIDIA and reduce gamma to something like .68.
I've posted before in VR forum about color banding issues with Rift but now I'm seeing them on my new monitor.
Where should I look? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!~
P.S> I have Seam version of ED and I did 'celan' reinstall the drivers. also i had to disconnect my Vive cables sine I couldn't launch ED in desktop only mode.
