Color bands and blotchy space

Is it me or did this get worse after the patch? Using Oculus CV1. I remember a few months ago they put an update out that added dithering which helped a lot. Now it seems worse again to me. Is anyone else experiencing this? Black space appears very blotchy and grey and horrible with bands of gray and splotches everywhere. :S

I don't see banding anymore at all. Whatever FD did with dithering looks great in my CV1. Maybe turn your gamma down?

+1 for checking your gamma settings - I usually keep mine 1 tick below center, if I'm exploring and trying to find something I'll crank it all the way up for a bit but then back down for normal stuff. No issues here, looks great still.
