Colour palette for generic modular PBP

With the generic PC theme being a flat white with grey-blue roofing, it would be nice to see a colour palette for these pieces. Seems it would be an fairly simple way to add another layer of individuality to a park.

it's in one of the many vids on youtube

The best one I've seen so far is from Parkitect (which btw has a LOT of features that we would like to see in this game too).

(click for full resolution)

It has a full RGB picker, the ability to use RGB sliders to get the hue you want, and the ability to type in the color hex you want. The last ability not only helps with using color harmonies for complementary colors, but also to re-type the exact color you want when moving from one place to the other.

The only thing that I would ask for after that, is the ability to select a color from your park via pointing your mouse somewhere and doing a key combination (alt+left click for photoshop as an example), or to have preset spaces where you can put your own color in for future use.

I know that this may be too much to ask, but it really is the proper way to do it.

Around minute 24 of the early access launch live stream, they discuss custom colors (apparently AKA 'painting', and 'flexi-color'). Though they don't mention any details, I sure hope they are planning to offer an 8-bit RGB color picker (as seen in the Parkitect screenshot above). Fingers crossed!

While it seems clear they plan to implement some form of custom painting, I was disappointed to hear that it would be limited. The devs in the video mention that they would not allow us to change the tone of the wood texture, for example. 'After all, who would want to change this beautiful woodgrain to red?' they asked rhetorically (paraphrasing). Well, I don't know but I wouldn't mind the option! I mean, in real life wood stain comes in red for a reason, right?

Well, otherwise this game looks incredible and very fun and if a limited ability to customize colors is the worst thing I can say about this game, then perhaps I'm being overly critical. But, as a someone who loves to test the limits of customization in all games, I hope that ultimately every asset in the game allows for some level of custom coloration. Is there any simpler way to expand the variety of these assets than altering the color?

Not only would this work for 'ploppable' objects but imagine the possibilities if we could tweak the colors of the existing path textures or curbs... or grass or rock or sand etc!

Either way I'm going to have a blast with this game...
