What about having combat limpet that works the same way as now but with a Better Ai and being much faster than normal limpet.
Would be nice for a Drone Carrier role play, having multiple combat limpet module each one controlling a few limpet that attacks any enemy ship or missiles in range (maybe not missile but an idea what do you think?)
The limpet can "Suicide" on enemy missile if close enough.(or not)
Can be targeted by turrets/point defence and any other weapons fixe/gimballed weapon except missiles and torpedo
Class 7 internal compartment only

Max acitve limpet 15
Active Range from mother ship 3km
Active time 15Min (900)
Reload time per limpet from cargo into the combat limpet controller --> 5s/limpet
All 15 limpet are launch after 1 click at a rate of 3/s (can launch them even if not full)
Combat Limpet Stats
Small fixed pulse laser -> 2dmg
Piercing 40
Rate of fire 1/s (can shot 5 time before distributor is empty and have to wait for recharge for 5s)(while doing evasive maneuver or not)
attack range of 600m of laser
Speed 350m/s
Limpets Health 5-10
Does not attack selected module
Attack randomly any Enemy ship/missiles in range
Can be recalled when retracting weapon(or not tell what you think)
