Combat Scenarios only?

I just upgraded from Beta to Premium Beta, downloaded the client and ran it.

In the top left hand corner it describes the client as 'Alpha Phase 1.1 Combat Test 3D' (No, I'm not running it in 3D) and while I can select and run the Combat Scenarios I also expected to be able to practice docking, see the galaxy map etc.

What have I missed? Are the docks, map etc only released for those Alpha backers at the moment?

Yes, as a premium beta backer you only have access to the combat scenarios in alpha build 1.1.

On Friday you'll get all you are after.

Premium beta starts on the 30th, until then you have an offline version to get your eye in, as it were.

When beta comes out there'll be a lot of us out there for the first time.

Remember, don't bunch up. A few ships is a target of opportunity. One ship is a waste of ammo. Don't stop moving, no straight lines - keep those engines burning. If you get separated keep moving, moving targets are harder to hit.

Keep calm, don't panic and I'll see you on the beach- er, docking pad.
