Combat Viper

Building a Combat Viper.
I have bought a Viper, upgraded modules to A.
But I went out and deployed hardpoints and not enough power, life support switched off!!!!
Guess I am doing something wrong

You also may only have to learn how to prioritize power distribution.

it's a good ship, but you will need to switch off systems like cargo hatch if your'e running A modules

Which is to do what?
I turned non combat stuff off, then my Hardpoints deployed, without life support turning off.
Then I got stuck, my primary weapons are Lasers, secondary are Multi-cannons.
I could not switched between them.
(alcohol is involved;P)

As per others you'll need to prioritise the power usage in the modules tab. Things like FSD, cargo hatch, etc can be assigned less priority to help with power.

Primary and secondary weapons should be just your primary and secondary fire button assignments. Have you set then to different fire groups instead? Fire groups are different to the primary/secondary assignments.
