Combat Zone Missions?

Hi all o7

I can't seem to find any missions to combat zones. The only things I can find are massacre missions which are either A) illegal, or B) targeting pirates who don't show up in combat zones. As far as I can see from my own experience, combat zones are just high difficulty res sites. How do people find legal missions for them?

As a more minor query, does redeeming combat bonds for major powers increase your navy rank percentage with those powers?

Well first you need to determine which factions are actually in those CZs (the ones in Civil War or War state, via system map, station faction report, or cockpit faction view). Only the factions involved will issue missions to kill their opponents in CZs.
Generally speaking when these factions issue massacre missions at all - many don't - they'll be CZ massacre missions.

And no, only missions work for rank.

Edit: if you're looking at the right factions but not seeing any massacre missions, changing port can help from what we've noticed. If there's a surface port in the system, especially a military one, try there.

Combat Bonds alone, I believe not.

But Massacre Missions do exist, just need a system in a state of War or Civil War, and some rep with one or more of the factions involved, and they'll show up.
