Combined system and DSS scanner

Would it be possible to have a joint system and detailed surface scanner instead of them being two separate items? Right now if you want to do detailed surface scans of planets you need to buy a DSS and use a slot, why not have the system scanner and the DSS as a single unit?

They did provide extra slots just for these devices when they were introduced as well.

Don't forget the DSS has an engineering option available. They should really add more, like faster probes or more probes launched before reloading. But anyway, it's not really a scanner, it's a probe launcher. No reason to combine it with fss. It's hardly a required tool.

These sorts of threads usually fall under the, "I want to put hull reinforcements in that slot and putting a DSS in stops me," category.
