Command prompt, batch processing tool for Planet Coaster

I dont know how popular it would be, but it would be cool to have a kind of command prompt that lets you set multiple values simultaneously, e.g. ALL staff paid = $500 or ALL Walls castle set (building 5) colours = #34500 #57740 #34478 this kind of processing must already be used to programme the game so seeing it accessible to everyone to batch process commands would be incredible.

I don't think you need a command prompt or batch file to do this (and I don't think you want this either as there could be a real risk of loading viruses this way - someone would think it funny to do this), but a method of seeing the colours of an existing piece would be great - hex or decimal values would be fine. I often change the default colours and hope and pray I can get back the same values later on.

Setting wages could be as simple as syncing all wages for this employee type to the first employee of this type would be great too.

Gets my vote - but not with batch files or command prompts [up]

You can do this now.
Click the colored item you want. Click it's color button. Click the Palette, copy the hex code.
Paste it to your new piece.

When I mean command prompt, I mean an ingame tool that, has the power to processes many items at once, with textual commands. Not related to the actual windows tools, but similar in function.

You want a console, just like "World Edit" in Minecraft?

A place to enter code through text?

Not sure if that will work for this game.

Thanks - just tried it and you are absolutely right! Very handy tip [up]

I agree, it might not work in PC... it would essentially be very similar to "cheatcodes" just a little easier to use.

Frontier is pretty strict about cheatcodes. In an interiew on the Schematics Team youtube (run by Adfo) Ed said that we cant have a friction control/slider option because of, "unknown reasons" :( those were actually his words, he just said sorry but no... so yea... I wish the UI had a lot of QoL improvements
