Yesterday my son deleted my commander by accident.

i allready contacted customer support and created a ticked however it seems that it is common to wayit 72 hours before they can answer the ticket.

s it possible to retrieve the data after such an extended ammount of time?

I should think they would be able to.
Though when they last backed up your character may be another matter.

Don't worry, FD can restore your cmdr save - I know ppl had no problems with this before.

Yes, if I can retain MUD characters from 20 years ago, I think you will be fine.

Did you specify unable to play on the ticket? You may get a faster than 72 hour response.

Backups of the saves are always created and kept for a certain time. If you would play and save now multiple times (atleast like 30 times), you are screwed. My advice is just be patient and relax. Your CMDR will be reloaded soonTM

No i just said the commander was deleted. i dont mind waiting as long as i get the progress back...

Its just a game after all and even though id be pretty sad if my old character couldnt be retrieved i wouldnt get too angry at him. he didnt know what he was doing. he just wanted to play the game his dad likes to play a lot...

Only ranks i had was chief petty officer with the federals and moneywise we are talking around 122 million credits

combat rank was 76% deadly, trade was 1% broker and exploration was 20% scout

Because it's then open to all sorts of tricksies, such as editing it.

They say it's up to 72 hours but actually they often help much sooner. Even on sundays. Expect to be contacted soon. The "ticket" guys and girls are actually doing a lot of good work
