Has anyone ever asked or showed interests in Storing items in game? Such as weapons, ammo, ship mods, rare items found, loot from many battles, disassembled ships in storage containers that can be loaded in a ship cargo bay to transport to other systems in a big decision to move all I own to some far away and unknown star system? I've been out a few weeks, but the game seemed to lack that seemingly small but useful feature that I have grown accustomed to always not having enough of in other games. However, developers always seems to realize players need more individual storage space and in subsequent updates, increase player storage by some increment. But it was lacking altogether in this game. Does my question makes sense? Is there any chance of player storage coming to Elite Dangerous? Being a persistent universe game, could there be any thought to this possibility in the future updates?
I have ships, I'd like to keep. I'd like to move to another system. But, I can only fly one ship at a time and I'd have to buy small ships to fly back to an old station each time to bring one of my preferred ships to my new star system. Or, I am stuck with selling all my stuff, and buying new later in the new system. Will you please consider developing and adding in a program or a small routine that would designate a ship as disassembled, it would be 1/5th more or less of its fully assembled size and stored in folder that essentially calls itself and acts like a storage container in the cargo bay, that is available to open and reassemble at my new home?
