Commercial Samples Salvage Mission won’t complete

Hi
I’ve currently got a live Commertial Samples Salvage mission on the go, I’ve now run it twice and have 8/4 samples and have gone back to Lind Terminal as requested but still no option to complete. Can you help it along.

I've hit this snag on commercial samples and blackbox collection missions. Quit doing them because of it. Not worth the hassle of going to do the work only to have the job denied to you as well as fines and rep hits. Cargo delivery and passenger rescue are good money and relatively simple.

I don't doubt that they fix legitimate bugs but this one seems core game play which should have been solved long ago. Doubt they are going to fix it since there are a crap ton of other missions out there to do that do not involve network lag stopping an item from getting tagged properly.

I got stuck on this last night. Then realised when handing in at the mission screen, at the bottom is a +/- button to transfer the commodities to hand in. I don’t know if this is the same for commercial samples if you have more than required.

I've had the same happen on several different types of collection missions, and I did bug report it /bow. It wasn't common enough to stop doing them altogether for me, the missions are usually quick and easy enough that I'd just say my favorite curse words and abandon the mission when it happened to me. If you get your 2/2 or 4/4 and the mission doesn't complete in the nav panel, ditch it. I tried going back for more, dumping cargo, jumping in/out of system, menu logging, nothing worked.

Try selling the surplus non mission tag one at a market or black market

Same thing happened to me. Surprised that it hasn't been fixed after a whole year. I doubt it's a user issue since I've verified that the required 'Commericial Samples' mission item was in my cargo and that I was at the correct station according to the mission description.
